Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Data Scientist to join our Relevance Team, which is dedicated to delivering personalized and relevant content to our users at every stage of their journey, from discovery to design. As a member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our users' experience by leveraging your expertise in data analysis and machine learning.

As a Data Scientist on our team, you will have the opportunity to deepen your business acumen while building scalable and reliable software. Responsibilities:
•Develop and enhance our recommendation systems to provide personalized recommendations to our users
•Conduct data and statistical analysis to improve recommendation accuracy
•Work with large-scale datasets and design algorithms for efficient computation and scalability
•Collaborate with Software Engineers and Data Architects in building real-time and automated batch implementations of the Data Science solutions to integrate them with the product.
•Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the recommendation systems and provide recommendations for improvements
•Stay up-to-date with the latest research and industry trends in recommendation systems, and contribute to the development of new algorithms and technique
Qualifications
Advanced (Master or PhD) degree with specialization in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research or another quantitative field or equivalent.
•4 years+ of experience in applied machine learning, deep understanding of algorithms such as Collaborative Filtering, Matrix Factorization, Factorization Machines, Deep Neural Networks, Wide and Deep, etc...
•3+ years of industry work experience in building recommendation systems and related fields: NLP, Ranking, Search Engine
•Proficient in Python, Java or Scala is a plus.
•Experience in data processing using SQL and PySpark.
Skills & Mindset
•Very strong analytical skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication.
•Self-starter. Can work independently and deliver results in a high pace, ever changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment.
•Openness to work with different cultures and working styles.
