What you'll be doing
As a member of the US Data Management Office, you'll work in a fast-paced dynamic team where you'll make a meaningful impact to promote a data-driven culture and proactive Data Risk management.
As a Data Risk and Governance Coordinator, you'll support ongoing data governance Risk and control activities. You will serve as a subject matter expert for data policies, standards, procedures and controls and will be responsible for fulfilling and coordinating Data Risk assessment activities across the US Region. You will bring a variety of skills, including excellent organizational and project management skills, be proactive in solving problems, be able to work independently and part of a team and be comfortable communicating with many different levels of employees across the organization.
You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How you'll succeed

• Program coordination - Support data governance forums and programs by using your excellent organizational skills to manage agendas, compile materials, take minutes, follow up on action items, manage deliverables to adhere to project timelines and facilitate stakeholder meetings.
• Data risk identification assessment - Perform Data Risk analysis, including identification, assessment, monitoring and measuring of Data Risks. Use your expertise in risk management and data governance to incorporate and understand information from a variety of sources to recommend a course of action.
• Accountability building - Escalate Data Risk control issues with transparency, as well as effectively create accountability with those who fail to maintain policy and standard expectations.
• Training and documentation - Share your knowledge with business stakeholders by providing appropriate guidance, education and training. Maintain operational procedures, job aids, training materials and templates related to Data Risk identification and mitigation.
• Continuous learning - Be informed and engaged as a subject matter expert on data-related regulatory requirements, organizational policies and standards, as well as industry best practices.

Who you are

• You can demonstrate experience in risk management, data governance or control-related functions with 3-5 years of related work experience. It's an asset if your are DCAM certified.
