Position: Data Quality & Stewardship Specialist
Position Type: Temp to Perm
Location: Mt. Arlington, NJ (hybrid), 1 day/week required onsite
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5 PM, Monday – Friday

The Data Quality & Stewardship Specialist is responsible for reviewing and creating links between data sources within company products and software. Data Quality & Stewardship Specialist creates and breaks links in Bulk or by request of internal users and customers. The Data Quality & Stewardship Specialist is responsible for updating and adding new sanctions. This position will require continued training in becoming skilled in the understanding of data and software used. This role will report to the DQS Manager.
What theData Quality & Stewardship Specialist is doing:
- Daily/weekly linking files; Daily DEA Sanction checks; Daily EPLS Sanction Bulk Match; 2X monthly FDA Sanction checks
- Perform customer DRP linking requests; Participate and/or lead Ad-Hoc customer linking projects
- Utilize Izenda reporting for linking and analysis
- Analyze monthly OIG Exclusion and Reinstatement files
- Manage data from a variety of sources; Maintain quality of the data using customer feedback, concerns, questions; Navigate internal reporting metrics for customer requests
- Optimize workflows and communications to ensure productivity volume and quality are acceptable
- Conduct research by utilizing internal databases and performing web searches to verify multiple licenses for a practitioner or organization.
- Providing on-going feedback to management of data issues
What experience we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in technical field from four-year College or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1 year of data analyst experience
- Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong data entry skills
- Aptitude to learn new systems
- Detail oriented, good data entry, research, and analytical skills
