In collaboration with business stakeholders and technology partners this role will be responsible for advancing Data Governance principles within Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) and across all Technology, ensuring high data quality throughout the data lifecycle to enable effective reporting and analytics. This individual will be responsible for ensuring understanding of the Data Governance structure, standards, and procedures, serving as a subject matter expert with deep knowledge of Infrastructure sources, technical proficiency, and business acumen all as it relates to the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).With support from the Manager, the primary duties and responsibilities include:•Execute on the I&O Data Governance strategic imperatives, in support of business priorities and in accordance with the TIS Data Governance standards, operating model, and roadmap.•Develop collaborative relationships with business and Technology partners, communicating key Data Governance activities, strategies, data impacts, and quality issues.•Partner with Data Engineers, Architects, Data Product Owners, and Integrated Reporting, as well as other business/Technology organizations that use I&O data, to improve the integrity and usability of configuration data assets, working to improve data quality and accuracy, validity, reliability, timeliness, relevance, completeness, accessibility, and compliance.

•Consult with SEPMs (Software Engineer Product Managers) that possess deep knowledge of application data, understanding how it is used within business processes and impact on desired business outcomes.•Consult with TPMs (Technology Product Managers) that possess deep knowledge of infrastructure date, understanding how it is used within the technology stack and impacts on business processes. •Define and apply data quality validation rules, thresholds, and service level agreements to monitor health of data, ensuring business process and/or system changes are appropriately assessed for impact to ensure integrity of data over time.•Perform root cause analysis for data quality issues, understanding business implications and communicating resolution approach and status so as to manage business partner expectations.•Strengthen cross-functional partnerships with other business areas to improve collaboration and transparency around data issue identification and resolution.•Maintain documentation of data assets so certified data can be accessed and translated for usage by end-users, as well as assessed for impact of any upstream/downstream changes.•Support the development of standards to identify critical data issues in terms of business impact, risk or opportunity and ensure data policy enforcement and compliance.What we're looking for: •5+ years of experience in a Data Governance, data analytics, or data management role.•Experience with analytically intense projects, which confirm common understanding of the data. •Experience profiling data, detecting data quality issues, and defining data quality business rules.•Experience with Data Governance tools including Master Data Management, data dictionaries, and data lineage.•Experience in change management and data analysis.•Experience with ITIL, IT Service Management, and applied knowledge of the practices.

•Experience with ServiceNow or other related toolsets that manage IT data. •Demonstrated expertise in bridging communication between IT and the business.•High knowledge of metrics applicable to data and associated analytical methods, company databases and their integration.•Understanding of SQL, Power BI and other data collections and reporting tools.•Knowledge of Application and Configuration architecture and terminology.•Experience using PowerShell and/or Python products in relation to automation capability. Potential ServiceNow Citizen Development based on skillset.Skills/Competencies:•Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise using reporting tools to perform data analysis (experience in SAS and Databricks and/or Power Platforms).•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.•Knowledge of Data Governance practices, hands on Data Governance tools implementation and usage, knowledge management and technical documentation of complex data flows.•Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.•Planning and management skills encompassing scope of work, time estimation, and resource assignment.•Exhibits interpersonal skills and effective communication, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
