We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our newly formed data and analytics team ensuring the unlock of critical intelligence and consumption capabilities for the Nestlé Out of Home business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our data management systems and processes. They will drive robust data-driven insights and analytics to support strategic business decision-making and also play an integral role in building long-term data driven analytic competencies and capabilities for the entire organization. This role requires a strong background in data management principles and processes and proven team leadership and development success.
Responsibilities include:

  • Data Management & Compliance
    • Develop and implement data management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security. Ensure business architecture and plans align with organizational strategies adjusting and navigating change and evolution effectively.
    • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Data Governance frameworks, including data standards, data dictionaries, and data classification and effectively ensure organization consumption and fluency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements, define data models, and ensure data integration across systems and/or drive new innovation or tools to deliver services or support that accelerate business growth/efficiency.
    • Monitor and optimize Data Governance principals (storage, retrieval, protection, privacy, etc.) are in place to ensure NUSA and legal compliance.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data management, analytics, and data privacy, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analytics & Insights:
    • Lead the development of deep analysis of multiple data sources to extract meaningful and applicable insights.
    • Leverage meaningful techniques and predictive modeling to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth and optimization.
    • Provide guidance and support to business units in leveraging data analytics to drive decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage and mentor a team of data management and analytics professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
    • Foster a collaborative team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
    • Set clear goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and priorities.
    • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to understand their data needs and build roadmap of growth opportunities in alignment with overall digital/ecommerce team priorities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5-8 years) in data management, analytics, or a similar role, preferably in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of data management principles, Data Governance frameworks, and data quality management.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Familiarity with statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
