As a Data Governance, Risk, and Compliance Analyst, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for supporting and enhancing the organization's Data Governance, risk management, compliance initiatives, and cybersecurity measures. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure the effective implementation of data protection, regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and information security strategies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Data Governance:
- Assist in the development and implementation of Data Governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Support the establishment of data quality standards and contribute to the effective management of data assets.
- Collaborate with business units to assist in defining data ownership, stewardship, and lifecycle management.
Risk Management:
- Contribute to enterprise-wide risk assessments to identify and mitigate operational, financial, and cybersecurity risks.
- Assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies and policies aligned with business objectives.
- Participate in monitoring risk exposure and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
Compliance:
- Support efforts to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, industry regulations, data protection laws, and applicable standards.
- Assist in compliance audits and assessments, addressing identified issues promptly.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of compliance documentation and reporting.
Information Security:
- Assist in the oversight of the organization's information security program, policies, and practices.
- Support alignment to information security certifications such as ISO, SOC Certifications, etc.
- Contribute to the implementation of cybersecurity strategies to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
- Assist in incident response and recovery efforts in the event of a security breach.
Vendor and Third-Party Management:
- Assist in assessing and managing third-party vendor risk and Compliance in relation to data handling.
- Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to ensure contractual compliance.
Reporting and Communication:
- Support in communicating risk and Compliance issues, as well as cybersecurity threats, to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing regular reports and updates on the status of Data Governance, risk, compliance, and security initiatives.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; coursework or certifications in Data Governance, risk management, compliance, or information security are a plus.
Experience: Mid-level position; 3 - 5 years projects related to Data Governance, risk management, compliance, or information security are required.
Skills & Abilities: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

$95,000 - $110,000 USD
