Data Entry Specialist – Des Plaines, IL
$45,000-$50,000/Annually (Plus full health benefits, PTO, 401k)

We are urgently seeking a Data Entry Specialist to help manage the day-to-day Data Entry and administrative needs of our business. In this role, you must have a high work ethic and enjoy working in a results-driven environment. This role ensures clear communication between departments, efficient clerical workflow, and smooth office operations.

Responsibilities:
- Input data into an inventory tracking system and input entity changes, such as name and address changes, on a computer system
- Recommend creative approaches to visualizing association data and data use
- Work with our billing and quality department to organize the workflow of Data Entry
- Effectively communicate with customers, distribution partners, vendors, co-workers, etc.
- Verify data and correct where necessary
- Communicate with various departments to obtain further information for incomplete documents
- Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and standards
- Compile weekly and monthly reports through Microsoft Office Excel
- Prepare business correspondence, typically using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Qualifications:
- 1 year of administrative experience (recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be proactive and open to working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite
