- Title: Data Entry Specialist
- Location: Dallas, TX 75201
- Hourly Pay: $25.00
- Schedule: 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. - Monday-Friday.
Data Entry Specialist
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collecting and digitizing data.
- Updating and populating measure insights tables.
- Adding new measures and values as necessary.
- Ensuring that all data on the database is accurate and up-to-date.
- Participating in brainstorming sessions with other staff to achieve goals.
- Preparing correspondence, reports, manuals and other documents.
- Researching and responding to questions from Program Analysts.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Communication Skills:Clear and concise communication,both written and verbal,to ensure accurate data transfer and resolve any discrepancies.
- Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to identify and troubleshoot Data Entry errors,and to suggest solutions to improve data quality.
- Ability to Follow Instructions:Adept at following detailed instructions and procedures to ensure data integrity.
- Experience with specific Data Entry software or systems.
- Knowledge of industry-specific terminology or data structures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Data Analytics Expertise (Water Systems Focus):
- Demonstrated understanding of data quality concepts and methods,particularly pertaining to water systems and infrastructure.
- Experience identifying and rectifying data inconsistencies,missing values,and anomalies.
- Proficient in data analysis techniques (statistical analysis,data visualization,reporting) to extract insights from water system data.
- Knowledge of software testing and incident/change management procedures.
- Familiarity with system processes related to water system applications.
- Proven ability to lead and manage data-driven projects from conception to completion.
- Strong organizational,analytical,and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience working with water system stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into clear system requirements.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively present data insights and manage change requests.
- Ability to research,analyze data,and compile comprehensive reports for various audiences.
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach to project execution.
- Ability to pass a background check with no FELONY or Class A/B MISDEMEANOR(s).
- Ability to pass a drug test.
