SalaryAs a Processing Specialist on our team, you will be supporting and assisting the claims departments with general clerical functions. You primarily be performing Data Entry for medical provider bills, but may also be opening and scanning mail documents, “attaching” scanned documents in the claims system. You may also take claim reports by phone and enter them in the system. This is an in-office position in our Orlando office (I-4/Kirkman Road) with hours Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Accurately entering data from provider bills in a computer system.
- Opening and scanning of incoming mail documents to folders in the system.
- Attaching scanned PDF documents to the claim system determining appropriate claim, attachment type and subject text per specific protocol.
- Entering claim report data to the system as reported by the client over the phone.
- Opening and scanning of incoming mail documents.
- Handling outgoing mail process via mail machine.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
You’ll Need:
- Typing speed of at least 45 wpm; 10-key by touch.
- Organized, motivated, detail orientated.
- Quick to learn and able to function well in a changing environment.
- Good computer skills and general office experience.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written. Team player. Good attendance. Good customer service skills.
