We are now hiring for a full-time Data Entry Pharmacy technician. Pharmacy operating hours are 9:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday.
Duties to include: order entry for new, refill, house stock and emergency medication orders in a timely and accurate manner; file; Triage and prioritize orders; handle a large volume of telephone calls while responding to customer inquiries; maintain confidentiality, security and integrity of protected health information, adjudicate claims to insurance correctly.
Job requirements: Registered as a pharmacy technician with the North Carolina State Board of Pharmacy, high school diploma or equivalent, strong knowledge of brand to generic medication names, familiarity of SIG codes, 1+ years pharmacy experience, excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and maintain a positive work environment at all times, and openness for learning new skills. FrameworkLTC experience a plus!
Salary: $13.00 - $16.00 / hr, based on experience
```Duties```
- Enter data accurately and efficiently into the system
- Verify the accuracy of data before entering it
- Organize and maintain electronic and paper files
- Retrieve and process information as needed
- Assist with data analysis and report generation
- Follow established procedures and guidelines for Data Entry
```Experience```
- Previous experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar role preferred
- Familiarity with pharmacy terminology and processes is a plus
- Knowledge of acute care, IV infusion, inhale, pharmacy, critical care, patient service, aseptic technique, medication administration in a hospital setting is highly desirable
- Proficient in using computer software and applications for Data Entry
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in Data Entry
- Strong organizational skills to manage large volumes of data
