The Arizona Department of Revenue is looking for a Data Entry Operator with great keying skills! This position is responsible for accurately and timely keying returns into multiple systems, while following standard operating procedures and customer specific instructions for processing returns. This person will also review and update work procedures and methods for the Treasury Unit, as needed.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Keying tax documents into various systems using numeric and alphanumeric data
-Assisting with the training of new and existing staff, as needed, and instructing them on a variety of tasks and procedures
-Viewing completed production batches of new staff for quality control
-Learning and applying LEAN concepts, principles, and tools to create and deliver perspectives and procedures with fewest resources and contribute to continuous problem solving
Knowledge of:
-Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Mail (general proficiency level)
Skilled in:
-10-key DATA ENTRY (general proficiency level)
-15,000 KPH (keystrokes per hour)
-40 WPM (words per minute)
-Written and oral communication
-Understanding terminology relating to the Data Entry Processing systems
Ability to:
-Work efficiently and along with team members within a small department
-Have the willingness and flexibility to assist where needed on the team
-Learn and apply LEAN concepts, principles, and tools
