SalaryOverview: Valley Drug Testing (VDT) is a service organization that provides the proper collection/testing of urine, hair, and breath alcohol samples. The Company has been in business for 20 years and has spent little to no effort in the marketing of our services. VDT relies on accurate work and professional customer service for the company to maintain current and develop new customer relationships.
Monday-Thursday 8am to 4pm, some Fridays if necessary 8am to noon.
Job Title: Collector/Technician (CT)
The following list of the responsibilities of the CT:
- Greet customers and determine the testing requirements and proper account to provide services to.
- Complete and provide quality assurance on the 100% accuracy of CCF/BAT forms related to each test.
- Ensure the proper account number, company ID, and test requirement fee is added to billing database on each sample collected.
- Ensure appropriate email and/or faxing of CCF or drug testing results to customer and MRO if necessary. Annotate on each form that data entry and transmission was complete by initials.
- File paperwork in appropriate location. Working with GM/Owner, continue to develop and maintain a filing system that allows for easy of document location and retrieval.
- Working with TPAs and laboratories to ensure that testing supplies such as CCFs and collection supplies are adequately stocked.
- Contacting TPA and DER when necessary for clarification on any questions that arise during collection/testing.
- Answer telephone calls and keep accurate notes on scheduling of tests and necessary supplies. Consult with GM/Owner on any questions. Get contact information if a call back is required.
- Learn the regulations and certifications required for completing correct collections.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
