Merchandising Specialist - Data Entry

A LARGE RETAILER AND CLOTHING/FASHION PROVIDER IS LOOKING TO HIRE ON MULTIPLE MERCHANDISING SPECIALISTS TO HELP IDENTIFY, CORRECT AND AMMEND PURCHASE ORDERS WITHIN THEIR SYSTEMS AND WORKING WITHIN VARIOUS EXCEL SPREADSHEETS.

NON CUSTOMER FACING ROLE

Pay: $15.32 - $18/hr

No manager interview required, just to have recruiter screening and action items completed

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm PST

True 100% Remote role but candidates must be work on PST

Expected Start Date: April 1st

Equipment is provided for this role

Must past Excel Test from Recruiter with a 75% or more

Description:

- High accuracy Data Entry via MS Excel

- Working on multiple Purchase Orders simultaneously

- Identify any errors with PO's

- Reconcile with vendors to ensure accurate PO information

- Stay organized, high attention to detail

- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team, Merchandise Operations leadership and business counterparts to identify procedures, potential issues and process training

- Develop a deep knowledge of merchandising information

- Identify and communicate new best practices and efficiencies for knowledge sharing across teams and divisions

a. Purchase Order team – take care of purchase order from end to end/make sure PO is 100% correct, work with buyers to fix it. Once everything is done, close out PO. Lots of Data Entry, POs are in excel document and formulas/pivot table/etc are premade, will need to pull POs simultaneously (at the same time unsure of exact number). If there are no errors in PO, should be quick to move through. Will be tracked on POs completed in a day/left open for how long

b. Items team – get list of items and make sure everything is correct and a ticket is created for PO team. If something is wrong, reach out to vendors/buyers to adjust errors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-1+ year of MSFT Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)

-Ability to work PST hours (likely 8am-5pm, up to 45hrs with OT)

-Exceptional time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks to ensure all deadlines are met

-Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as analytical

-Pass MS Excel test (75%)

NICE to Haves:

-Interest in fashion/merchandising

-Knowledge and experience with online, retail, merchandising or product development processes, systems and reporting

-Bachelor's Degree, retail experience or equivalent business acumen.
