Responsibilities:
- Compare rate quotes provided to clients against Orders received and confirm rates with the sales team (if needed)
- Enter orders accurately as they are received.
- Attention to all details in email correspondence before entering an order and throughout the project.
- Constantly review dispatch emails for new orders, price changes, and dimension changes, etc.
- Assist with filling, copying, and completing files for billing.
- Update Prophesy with billing notes for assessorial charges and Customer account information and updates.
- Communicate with Dispatch daily when pertaining to orders entered along with adjustments.
Qualifications
- Qualifications:
- Must have logistics and intermodal experience
- High school or equivalent
- Prior transportation billing and/or order entry experience
- Experience working with containers and drayage is a plus
- Strong computational skills especially metric weight and measurement conversion Attention to detail is crucial for this role
- Robust interpersonal, written, and communication skill set
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and TMS systems such as Profit Tools or Prophesy
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
