What You'll Do:
- Responsible for maintaining a complete and accurate health record while ensuring the integrity of the enterprise wide health record.
- Uses standard procedures to make decisions on straightforward problems and issues.
- Supports privacy, confidentiality, and implements patient safety practices as appropriate.
- Requires working knowledge of data management, including document scanning, indexing, Data Entry and abstraction of data.
- Maintains a regulatory/compliance environment by following organizational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies as well as state, local and federal standards and regulations.
- Applies critical thinking skills in routine daily work with the ability to multi-task.
- Requires effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with a variety of people and departments enterprise wide. Performs in a fast paced, constantly changing and production-driven environment with a focus on quality.
- Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.
- Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.
Schedule:
- Full Time | 80 hours every two weeks
- Monday - Friday between (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
- No Weekends!
Pay & Benefits:
- Base Pay starts at $17.23/hr
- Full Time benefits are also available.

Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Completion of a Health Information Technology program preferred.
- Medical Information experience preferred.
- 1 year of experience working with electronic health records preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) accreditation preferred.
Qualifications:
- Must have good computer skills.
- Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
- Knowledge of overall Health Information procedures.
- Needs to be detail orientated.
- Must have ability to troubleshoot when necessary.
