Data Engineer (Analytics Administrator)

**This is NOT a remote position and is located in Edmond, OK**

Summary of Job:

The Data Engineer (Internal job title: Analytics Administrator) position is a strategic, technical, customer facing position within the IT Department for the clients they support. They design, develop, and implement data, dashboarding, and reporting systems to ensure client requirements are met in an Agile and in a cost-effective manner. It is expected that they meet with clients on a regular basis to manage, prioritize, and lead projects. The Data Engineer (Analytics Administrator) is responsible for Business Intelligence, Data Science, System State, and Process Performance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain Relational Database Management Systems and Data Warehouses
• Develop ETL tools using SQL – SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, PowerBI, extensive T-SQL
• Conduct Agile Project Management
• Visualize data using the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack
• Design and maintain SharePoint Public and Team Sites, Document Libraries, and Lists
• Maintain an expert level of Microsoft Office knowledge in Excel and Access
• Create Data Science solutions
• Develop, manage, and monitor System State metrics
• Develop, manage, and monitor Process Performance metrics

Additional Responsibilities:

• Design and develop RDBMS schemas for both OLTP and OLAP environments
• Develop Business Intelligence solutions including reports, dashboards, and KPI’S utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio
• Create user application specifications that can be presented to non-technical users
• Organize and prepare program and system documentation to facilitate ongoing support and maintenance
• Coordinate system implementation through Project Management and testing to ensure a smooth conversion
• Develop in VB.Net/C# code

Qualifications:

• 7 years data analysis and business intelligence experience required.
• 5 years of experience with ETL technologies required
• 1-2 years of Project Management
• Strong skills in diagnosing and root cause analysis of technical issues
• Ability to multi-task solving multiple issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to quickly learn new technologies

Compensation and Disbursements:

• Compensation DOE $80,000 to $110,000 annually
• Full Time, 40 hours a week
• Salary paid on the 15th and EOM
