Data Coordinator- Degree Audit

Reporting to the University Registrar, the Data Coordinator for Degree Audit will contribute to the Office of the University Registrar by maintaining data and related processes to ensure the security and integrity of academic records. The Data Coordinator for Degree Audit is responsible for supporting current Degree Audit processes, and for continually researching ways to improve efficiency to expedite degree clearance. The Data Coordinator for Degree Audit contributes to the services and mission of the Office of the University Registrar and the University as a whole.

You are:

  • Very organized with great attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and advance multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Able to work independently and take individual initiative as well as a collaborative team member

You will:

  • Support Degree Auditors by managing the course substitution process
  • Coordinate data collection from, and outreach to, students and advisors
  • Liaison with academic departments to ensure timely submission of graduation applications
  • Optimize Navigate to communicate graduation application information to students
  • Develop and maintain calendar for Degree Audit related tasks
  • Research process improvements, make recommendations, and implement efficiencies
  • Maintain the records and systems related to student enrollment with discretion and accuracy in accordance with internal policies and external regulation
  • Implement and enforce academic policies
  • Develop reports for university stakeholders and others as needed
  • Provide backup support for routine office tasks such as registration issues and addressing customer inquiries
  • Promote teamwork, collaboration, and resource sharing across the Office of the University Registrar and other Enrollment Services areas
  • Support the overall operation of the Office of Student Financial and Registrar Services
  • Perform other duties as assigned

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and two to four years of experience in a Registrar’s Office preferred
  • Administrative experience in higher education desired
  • Experience with Banner preferred
  • Experience working with faculty members and administrative/academic departments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to enhancing the internal and external customer experience is required
  • Professional presentation and demeanor is required
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams is necessary
