Position Description:

We are seeking a Data Center Operations Technician to join our CGI team in Salt Lake City, UT!
This is a full-time career opportunity in supporting our global mining client!
You will support hardware and software installation, configuration, operation and ongoing maintenance of the computer/Data Center.
Operates, monitors and performs basic troubleshooting of equipment, networks, and data processing/batching; assists with logging and documentation of equipment and processes.
Responsibilities may also include cabling, racking and server installations.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

What you'll bring
3-5 years of Data Center Operations Technician experience
Being able to work in person onsite
Must have worked in heavy industrial/Engineering/Construction industry
Experience with industry leading server, OS, and storage technology
Collaborator management and good communication skills
Coordinate with global collaborator
Good with Server/Storage Admin/control software/tools
Mostly work from office, but ability to work in construction/hazardous area on need basis
