Overall Responsibilities:
- As an Inventory Strategy and Capability Enablement Program Manager, you will be responsible for enabling our ability to carry and manage inventory for existing and new products.
- You will apply your knowledge of Supply Chain principles and your problem-solving prowess to key inventory processes.
- You will use your skills to establish and drive metrics, drive process, and system improvements to achieve efficiency and scalability goals, and influence our rapidly growing Data Center infrastructure Supply Chain.
- You will work closely with Data Center Supply Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Commodity Management, and Contract Manufacturing teams.
- Develop and manage inventory and warehousing strategies, and the associated business cases, across the product portfolio.
- Drive alignment with partner teams, stakeholders, leadership, and program teams to drive operationalization and achieve service-level targets.
- Coordinate with partner teams the execution of RFPs identifying warehousing suppliers while optimizing for cost, time to launch, responsiveness, and ongoing operational lift internally.
- Author, in partnership with partner teams, process, policies, and requirements to ensure SOX controls and compliance. Build a framework for cycle count accuracy, E&O governance, aging, and utilization.
- Build partnerships with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) warehouse providers and equipment suppliers, establishing Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure ongoing operational excellence.
Education:
- BA/BS degree in Business Process, Supply Chain
- 5-7 years experience in the relevant industry in the Supply Chain domain
- Project Management experience with the ability to communicate/collaborate cross-functionally with technical/non-technical groups spanning all organizational levels
- Experience driving process improvement projects from idea to adoption
- Well-organized and high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work comfortably in Sheets, Docs and Slides
- MS/MBA degree in Business Process Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines.
- Experience with inventory SOX controls and deep knowledge of S&OP processes and experience in the development and implementation of systems
- Experience leading 3PL or VMI partners to establish facts, solve complex problems, and establish corrective action plans.
- Experience in project management with a track record of successfully setting up, executing, and monitoring operational processes.
- Fluency in PMP, Six Sigma (Green or Black), DMAIC, Lean, Value Stream Mapping, or SIPOC.
- Experience working on hardware products (Data Center Mechanical or Electrical Commodities)
