Data Center Engineer 1

Organization:

SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-Valley

Position Overview:

Initial training on day shift, then will be swing shift 2:30pm-11:00pm.
Assists in the management and maintenance of the physical space and physical equipment used within the Data Center and its equipment rooms. Provides asset management of equipment rooms and the equipment. Creates and maintains documentation necessary.
Structured cabling and general support, hands on technical support at Data Center

Job Description:

EDUCATION:

HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Basic knowledge of networking and telecom equipment.
Working knowledge of electrical distribution systems.
Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify relevant concerns and factors.
Focus on customer service that informs all actions and decisions.
Work as part of a team or collaborate with colleagues.
