Job SummaryThe Data and Visualization Analyst will be instrumental in managing our data storage systems and transforming complex datasets into understandable visual reports. In addition, this position will also be responsible for supporting and managing our reporting tools. This position is defined as a non-exempt position under FLSA regulations.Specific Responsibilities· Utilize data visualization tools to create dashboards and reports.· Perform data cleansing, transformation, and loading (ETL) to ensure data accuracy.· Design and write custom SQL views for extracting and formatting data, as well as ad-hoc reporting.· Support our various campus reporting tools. Work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data insights.· Support the analysis of business processes and identify areas for improvement.· Contribute to the design of data models and database structures.· Engage in the continuous enhancement of data storage and reporting systems.Document Data and extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes.
Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information technology, or related field is required. One to two years of visualization experience in Tableau, Power BI, or similar, and SQL experience or relevant course work preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesThe person in this role should have knowledge and proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar; SQL (SQL Server, MySQL, and/or Postgres), and database management systems. They would have knowledge of basic programming practices and fundamentals, and familiarity with SSIS, Powershell and/or Python, and Git. This person should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail skills, excellent written and verbal skills, and have an eagerness to learn and grow.

Position requires occasional manual dexterity and the ability to use fingers, hands, and arms to feel, handle, and reach. Working conditions are indoors.
