What you'll do:

The Product Management (PM) director position for the CBRE GWS Insights group acts as a team leader for experienced analysts and product managers delivering new features and enhancements to CBRE's Vantage Analytics platform. This role will lead and support several product initiatives for GWS Insights to include Smart FM, EV Charging, as well as advancing the core analytic capabilities of our existing products by accelerating the use of AI/ML to drive business outcomes. The PM will work closely with the product owners of the core technologies, around the organization to develop the GWS Insights product strategy. They will also support the development of cases with oversight of budget and spend. Core capabilities will be passionate about technology strategy, execution, and management to deliver analytic solutions that meet our clients' needs and achieve desired business outcomes.

The PM director will represent the voice of the customer, gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing user feedback, ideas, and research, translating the insights into features and improvements that influence the product roadmap. The role is a key contributor to the vision of products, instrumental in planning, crafting, and maintaining feature level roadmaps that realize the business priorities, working closely with our D&T partners to guide them on the feasibility of those plans through a detailed understanding of the technical capabilities and needs of those features. The role will handle defining solutions, developing requirements, and working in an agile fashion with D&T product development to ensure we deliver enterprise scale solutions.

Beyond Product Management, the director will communicate the vision for our products, partnering with marketing and sales to develop collateral that articulates the value and advantage of products, this may include client and/or internal leadership presentations. They will also work with our team to support technical implementations of our products.

The ideal candidate possesses a broad skills across six key categories: Product Management practice, team management, strong stakeholder-facing communications, experience in data modeling and relational databases, Data Analytics and visualization expertise, and knowledge of the corporate real estate outsourcing industry. Minimum of 6+ years of experience. Advanced degree not required but preferred. This position is remote. Work from home or another CBRE office is an option.

Partner closely with product owners to develop and implement product roadmap for assigned products, ensuring alignment with needs and desired outcomes.

Lead solution design and implementation in close collaboration with partners to deliver high-impact solutions tailored for enterprise needs.

Identify and prioritize top AI/ML use cases for execution in partnership with our D&T partners.

Conduct presentations (both in-person and virtually) of project progress meetings and presentations of results.

Problem-solve technical issues and questions. Raise issues to senior management and dedicated technical team as needed.

Implements and maintains key processes to be followed by the team and other strategic activities.

Continuous review and improvement of project processes.

Provide subject matter expertise on data-related processes and analyses.

Assigns tasks, responsibilities, evaluate and mentor staff.

This position will supervise a small team both on and offshore. Provides formal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. Leads project teams and/or plan assignments of employees. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop proficiencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university. Master's degree or MBA preferred. Minimum six+ years of related experience and/or training. Previous project management, business analytics or related experience preferred. Expert skills in planning, database management/business intelligence. Knowledge of the commercial real estate industry, specifically the project management service line, is strongly encouraged.

Knowledge of Agile and Scrum Methodologies

Real estate license or PMP (Project Management Professional) designation is a nice-to-have.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to optimally present information.

Experience with data management, analysis, and visualization. Proficiency in database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server is preferred.

Requires basic knowledge of financial and statistical terms and principles.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret data sets. Ability to tackle problems involving several options in situations. Requires analytical and quantitative skills.

Skills in Microsoft Office Suite Products, particularly Excel. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $140,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $187,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
