Job Description
The client is building a robust in-house advertising business that’s key to its growth strategy. They partner closely with brands on strategies and solutions that harness client’s unparalleled omni-channel influence. They deliver relevant retail ads and experiences that connect their customers with the brands and products they love. They use online and in-store data, encompassing 95% of American households, to measure campaign-correlated sales on their site and in their stores.
Work Location: Remote in the U.S.
Duration: 6 months contract with potential for extension and conversion, depending on budget and performance
Pay range: $60/hr to $73/hr
Responsibilities:
- Understand and lead the integration of existing and/new data sources
- Design, develop, and maintain data ETL processes for media and marketing data from various sources (media logs, POS, 3 rd party data, marketing automation tools, etc.)
- Cleanse, transform, and integrate marketing data to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Develop and implement data quality checks and monitoring procedures
- Document data ETL processes for clear understanding and future maintenance
- Collaborate with marketing and data science teams to understand data needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues and have experience in data mapping reconciliation
- Experience with latest marketing data management techniques and technologies
- Build and maintain data dictionaries to define data elements and their usage
- Create reports and visualizations to communicate data quality metrics to stakeholders
- Perform hands-on modeling and complex analyses using SQL & Python
- Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline data science solutions
- Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) in a related field
- 4+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration
- Proficient coding skills (SQL/Python/R or SAS)
- Strong understanding of SQL and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with Big Query
- Experience in integrating, structuring, and analyzing large amounts of data from diverse sources
- Strong project management skills and attend-to-detail documentation skills
- Experience with big data technologies (i.e., Google Cloud Platform) and modern data visualization tools (Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Looker, etc)
- Strong written & verbal communication with the ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to a range of audiences and to tell- a-story provide insight into the business
- Have passion for working in a fast-paced agile environment and possess a collaborative mindset and sense of curiosity
