Data Analyst

Requirements for a Data Analyst with Lutheran Social Services:
- Associate degree in business, public health, social service administration or related field required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Two to five years of experience with data collection and collation, data analysis, and data reporting required.
Responsibilities for a Data Analyst with Lutheran Social Services:
- Implement analytical tools that systematically track program service benchmarks and quality assurance performance, analyzing program data, creating regular (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) program metrics and quality assurance reports, determining root cause(s) of process problems, and developing recommended solutions, complete monthly CQI reports.
- Assist with data needs for grant applications and outcome reporting for grants received.
- Reviews and implements standards and regulations for applicable grantees and organizations.
- Assists Faith Mission in compliance requirements with funding partners and eases the data input and analysis burden for staff.
- Creates Logic Models and Theories of Change in relation to grant program compliance.
- Work with QA Manager as necessary to identify, collect, manage, and report data and outcomes related to Faith Mission to ensure compliance with all federal funding.
- Assists with Faith Mission data collection strategies and new software implementation.
- Collects and analyzes data and outcomes for quality improvement activities and key performance measures.
- Assists with Needs Assessments and heat maps.
- Creates quality improvement reports and shares results with staff members, patients, and stakeholders.
- Participates in TQM Committee monthly.
- Serves as reporting liaison to electronic health record (EHR) software and reporting systems.
- Assists staff members to use data tracking systems and optimize efficiency.
- Assists with developing volunteer activities and initiatives to support Faith Mission programs related to key performance measures.
- Attends team meetings, as necessary.
- Represents Faith Mission at external agency meetings and events.
- Conducts file reviews/audits as directed.
