Opening Full Time 40 hours Range URG 108 Pharmacy SMH Responsibilities GENERAL PURPOSE: Develops methods for data collection and analysis to create and maintain an NDC optimization workflow. Analyzes and interprets data to redistribute slow moving inventory. Works directly with the pharmacy buyer, inventory technicians and pharmacy managers to lessen WAC exposure and maintain inventory levels across all ambulatory pharmacy locations.
This analyst will have the ability to work as part of a team or independently to provide seamless service across the department with daily tasks in the aforementioned area. Collects, analyzes and documents business requirements and translates into function and system requirement specifications. May guide other less experienced team members.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Tracks and Compiles comprehensive business metric data for evaluating effectiveness of programs, processes, or practices. Signs off on accuracy of all compiled data. Protect and ensure confidentiality of data per applicable policies and procedures (i.e.
HIPPA etc.). Create and maintain an NDC optimization process to ensure consistency and lessen WAC exposure across all ambulatory pharmacies. Will require utilization of reports from multiple sources including wholesaler and pharmacy software.
Track and review changes on a daily basis and share with pharmacy buyer. Collect requirements and design reports to meet data analysis needs. Use pharmacy software reports to identify slow moving inventory and redistribute it across the ambulatory pharmacies to be utilized.
Will report on 180-day accumulations to ensure unreplenished 340b drug is accounted for appropriately from a financial perspective. Updates and maintains the integrity of assigned databased on an ongoing basis. Use pharmacy software reports to set and maintain appropriate par and optimum levels for inventory items across all ambulatory pharmacies.
May conduct training sessions regarding proper technology usage to staff. Create and maintain an internal cash plan for patients across all ambulatory pharmacies. May develop standard operating procedures, process maps, code manuals and project plans for all major reporting projects.
