Job Description:
- The role will leverage data from multiple sources to derive analysis and actionable insights from our various internal teams
- As a Data Analyst/storyteller, you will scope out ambiguous requirements and showcase the power of data by turning it into actionable recommendations that address the needs of our internal customers
- Expertise in transforming data into insights and actionable stories, with an ability to deliver and support the narrative all the way to action
- Experience in a role transforming complex data into clear insights/stories that drive business decisions
- Must be passionate about data, technology and most importantly telling a data driven story
- Must be passionate about the Customer Experience
- Experience with insights narrative creation, data visualisation and data driven storytelling
- Abide by Banking security policies and practices.
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed.
- Experience on designing and developing Data Pipelines for Data Ingestion or Transformation using Spark or Scala or Python , (or similar tool)
- Experience in the following Big Data frameworks, Resource Management, Distributed Processing and RDBMS
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience of designing, building, and deploying production-level data pipelines using tools from Hadoop stack (HDFS, Hive, Spark, HBase, Impala, NiFi etc).
- Experience with Spark programming (pyspark or scala).
- Experience in data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, DOMO etc
- RDBMS technologies: MS SQL Server
- Familiarity with machine learning implementation using Python.
- Experience of developing applications with Monitoring, Version Control, Unit Test, Change Management to support DevOps
- Ability to pick up new tools and technologies
- Good oral and written communication skills
