Reporting to the Commercial Data Manager, you will analyze trade sales data from a variety of distributor RAS and ERP systems. The Data Analyst role works with multiple internal departments and external vendors to optimize our sales data pipeline from product sell-in to financial reporting. As a trusted data resource, you will analyze information to resolve and evaluate data pipeline issues. You will work with other analysts and field teams to enhance data ingestion, processing, and structural organization.
Job Description
Data Quality and Systems Integration
Work with third-party data processing vendor to ensure that high-quality distributor data is flowing into Red Bull systems and is available for company use.
Partner with distributor technical contacts to troubleshoot data issues. Communicate impact of issues to internal stakeholders and escalate where necessary.
Gather project requirements from sales and distribution teams. Guide communication between business and IT to translate requirements into technical terms.
Work with other Red Bull and third-party teams during ongoing data quality projects.
Commercial Data Expert
Gain understanding of sales data, data sources, and processes involved in sales planning and performance measurement.
Become an expert in SAP BI reporting interface and Red Bull data structure. Aid other Red Bull users in creating accurate reports for their business needs.
Perform ad-hoc data analysis and provide hands-on support for complex reporting challenges.
Compare internal and external data sources to analyze reporting discrepancies.
Process improvement
Assist Commercial Data team with documentation and system enhancements.
Make process recommendations aimed at improving data quality.
Analyze strategies designed to enhance data reliability and ease of use in reporting.
Qualifications
1+ years of relevant working experience.
Bachelor’s degree in University (degree in Accounting/Finance or business-related field)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel – comparing datasets and managing large spreadsheets.
Familiarity with data management, business systems, and reporting tools.
Strong communication skills. Ability to translate between business and technical requirements.
System integration or system administration experience.
CPG industry experience (beneficial, not required).
Additional Information
The base salary range for this position is $76,095 to $84,105 + cash incentives Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
