D365/X++ Application Developer

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Contract D365/X++ Application Developer handles analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of existing and new applications and integrations. The ideal candidate will be a strong technical resource with the ability to understand, learn and master many different diverse technologies used across the enterprise, work with minimal supervision, and has ability to work closely with the business and technical resources.

Role and Responsibilities:

· Evaluating business processes, expecting requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.

· Staying up to date on the latest processes and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

· Experience architecting and delivering scalable, distributed enterprise applications.

· Firsthand experience with the X++, C#, Python, XML, JSON, SOAP and RESTful web services.

· Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.

· Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.

· Supplying training and coaching of internal staff on X++ and D365 development.

· Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.

· Managing competing resources and priorities.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE This individual will have:

· A minimum of 5 years’ experience of proven application development, integration and data management development.

· Experience architecting and delivering scalable, distributed enterprise applications.

· Firsthand experience with the X++, Python, XML, JSON, SOAP and RESTful web services.

· Knowledge of database design including the ability to write complex queries.

· Experience in SQL Development.

· Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

· Excellent documentation skills.

· A history of following through on commitments.

· Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

· A history of leading and supporting successful projects.

· Strong critical thinking skills, ability to multitask, be process-minded and meticulous.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience in ERP/MRP software implementations or support.

· Working understanding of Microsoft Azure Dev Ops management tools.

· Working understanding of Enterprise Service Bus integration tools.

· Experience in Agile/Scrum management principles.

· Working understanding of PowerBI or equivalent BI Development platforms

· Working understanding of master data management principles.

· Confident, initiative-taking approach to managing tricky situations, conflicting requirements and schedules, and energetic people.

· Flexibility and ability to work collaboratively within a matrix environment.

· Must be able to make sound decisions based on incomplete information, while under pressure, and while keeping project focus.

· Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization.

· Ability to look at situations from several points of view.

· High comfort level working in a diverse environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $90.00 - $122.00 per hour
