This Standard Summer 2024 Internship is a paid intern experience that will be based in our New York, NY office. Standard's Cybersecurity team investigates breaches, breaks into applications and systems to identify security gaps for our company, and works continuously to improve our security posture. We are seeking candidates who possess the ability to think like an attacker and stay one step ahead of the game. The ideal candidate for this position on our team is a rising Cybersecurity Slayer.

What part will you play? Finding your niche among some of our cool projects, you'll have exposure to:
- Threat emulation (learning from Tactics, Techniques, Procedures)
- Network traffic analysis
- Penetration testing
- Network, web, mobile application security assessments
- Source code reviews
What do we require from you?
Technical skills in at least two of the following areas:
- Working knowledge of Windows OS and networking protocols
- Basic knowledge of security tools used for network and application analysis
- Knowledge of application testing and network security concepts
Additional qualifications:
- Technical acumen and ability to quickly assimilate new information
- Ability to successfully interface with clients (internal and external) and manage expectations of others
- Ability to document and explain technical details in a concise, understandable manner
- The successful candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with an overall minimum GPA of 3.0 and an anticipated graduation date between December 2024 and May 2025
