We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer + Systems Administrator to join our team.
As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for all network and Cyber Security for our organization. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure of our cloud-based SaaS application, and all related activities stemming from that.
As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our could-based SaaS product computer systems and networks.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of cloud-vased IT infrastructure operations, with a specical focus on data security
- Design and implement network security solutions to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber threats
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
- Develop and enforce IT and security policies, procedures - including information security, data privacy, business continuity planning, etc.
- Complete data security and data privacy audits that are requested by customers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in network security technologies and best practices
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and firewall technologies
- Experience with administration of Microsoft Windows server, MS SQL Server, and related technology
- Experience with VMWare and operating a virtualized environment in the cloud
- Familiarity with incident management processes and incident response procedures
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
