Cyber Security Analyst

Numerica is seeking a Cyber Security professional to assist with our Information Assurance activities. This person will support the planning, implementation, testing, and documentation of the applicable information assurance and cybersecurity requirements. We are a small business and team, so this is a hands-on role, and you must be a self-starter. Duties and responsibilities:

• General Cybersecurity activities, including but not limited to: Hardware/Software change administration, media protection, etc.
• Implement and maintain Microsoft 365 / Azure security configurations
• Information Systems Reviews, Auditing, Continuous Monitoring, and Incident Response
• Ensuring information system complies with relevant standards/requirements (e.g. DAAPM, NISPOM, NIST)
• Assist in information assurance documentation (System Security Plans (SSP), Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M), Risk Assessments, diagrams, inventories, etc.)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Will need to have or be able to obtain a secret clearance
• Experience with Microsoft 365 / Azure

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

• Standards compliance for IT systems (ex. NISPOM and NIST 800-53/800-171 requirements)
• Familiar with NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171
• Experience with CentOS/Fedora/RedHat Enterprise Linux
• Experience with Windows operating systems
• RMF experience (developing and maintaining artifacts)
• eMASS experience
• Experience with scripting languages

U.S. Citizenship required

Due to the nature of the work performed by Numerica, all applicants must be capable of obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance. At a minimum, this requires that a candidate be a U.S. citizen and have a trustworthy background (e.g., clean criminal record, no use of illegal drugs, etc.).

Expected salary range $80,000 - $130,000, plus incentives
