Job Description:
Customer Support Specialist for ADM Commodity Procurement/Amino Acids
Candidate will be responsible for OIS liquid tank management, A/P, PO order entry, Position Data and Vendor Management.
Coordination with Procurement team, warehouse, shipping and trucking to ensure timeliness of delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Manage vendor po’s that come into a shared inbox.
- PO Order entry & Invoicing within Oracle and IBM.
- Liquid Tank inventory management and scheduling within OIS.
- Work with the sales team on customer issues and price files.
- Work with trucking dispatch and 3rd party locations to schedule customer deliveries.
- Assist in maintaining current and up to date open purchase contract reports and a clean A/P report.
- Set up new sold to/ship to customer information within MDM.
- Set up new vendors within the Vendor Maintenance System.
- Generate position data to be given to ADM CRMO group to build risk positions.
- Contact external suppliers to monitor ETA’s for inbound deliveries
- Previous experience in a Customer Support role is beneficial, but not required.
- Must have good communication skills via email and phone and able to multi task.
- Strong problem solving skills and positive attitude.
- Prioritize daily work to take care of vendor and customer needs and concerns.
