The Customer Support Opportunity:

We are looking for a Customer Support agent to support clients and manage post-sale activities. The responsibilities of this role include maintaining client relationships, onboarding new customers, overseeing the post-sale process, and acting as the main point of contact for existing customers.

To be successful in Customer Support, you should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, knowledge of CRM software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. Ultimately, a quality Customer Support agent should demonstrate great customer service skills, strong business acumen, and problem-solving skills. You should be flexible enough to handle a variety of duties that pertains to the company's products, services and clients. Their main responsibility is to make sure the company's customers are happy, and some of their specific daily duties include:

  • Communicating with clients to ensure that all of their needs are understood and addressed
  • Building strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new customers
  • Developing new opportunities to upsell existing customers
  • Maintaining accurate records of all interactions with customers
  • Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests
  • Resolving issues and complaints and keeping track of all processes that pertain to the client's desires
  • Acting as the client's representative to ensure that their demands are met with a focus on improving the customer experience

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and follow-up/follow-through skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Goal oriented
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Sales background is a plus
  • 1-3 years experience in a client facing/customer service role
