Customer Service Support
In this administrative role, you will manage your work independently, often switching between the transactional aspect of inside sales and the deep dive research needed to resolve billing matters.
Work schedule: Monday - Friday, hours to be selected between 8:00am-7:00pm Eastern
Travel expectations: Individuals within a reasonable commute of our Charleston headquarters will be required to be in the office one day each week. Those outside of the area, can expect to travel occasionally (1-2 times per year) to our US headquarters for training and team development.
- Provide timely and accurate part identification & delivery times to customer
- Process spare parts and consumable orders in SAP for customers
- Communicate with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate delivery methods and gather tracking information
- Administer RMAs for customers, invoice all spare part & consumable orders
- Assist customers and Finance in the resolution of billing and payment issues
- Communicate any consumable pricing discrepancies to team lead
- Initiate quotes for service work orders under service contracts, third-party vendors, and billable non-contract repairs
- Collect purchase orders for service orders, work closely with the purchasing department
- Research & annotate the closing of work orders associated with service contracts
- Adjust service billing where required, invoices all work orders
- Notify management of any issues, concerns, or customer satisfaction problems
- High school diploma or GED and related work experience
- Experience in high detailed work involving data entry and analytical skills
- Demonstrated strong Customer Service skills via phone and email
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite with emphasis in Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Experience with SAP or another ERP
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills
- Able to work overtime where needed
