ROLE DEFINITION
As a Customer Service Representative you will support the sales team by performing customer service activities and account management functions. You will assist the sales team to proactively grow sales by providing outstanding customer service and developing client relationships and internal networks.
RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION
Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:
- Receive and process phone and written inquiries, quotes, and order changes
- Provide pricing and delivery information based on company procedures and policies
- Work with cross functional teams to track orders to ensure on-time deliveries
- Confer with customers to resolve issues with orders, deliveries, quotations, quality, and forecasts
- Answer customer questions about products, prices, and availability
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED plus two years’ experience in Sales or a Manufacturing Environment -or- a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required
- Experience with QAD/ERP/MRP is a plus
- Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required
