Customer Service/Vendor Coordinator

Job Summary: Job Summary:

The vendor coordinator is responsible for the selling of booth space at retail shows for the American Quilter's Society. This includes talking with vendors about booth space, communicating where their space is located at each show, and keeping receipts of the booths sold. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic with great customer service experience with exceptional communication skills. This candidate should be a quick problem solver and should be able to adjust to changes on the fly. This position does require 4 weeks of travel for each retail show.

Responsibilities:

• Selling booth space to vendors at AQS Quilt Shows
• Registering vendors for AQS Quiltweek events
• Maintain financial and vendor reports
• Provide support to vendors before, during, and after shows
• Serving as a liaison to decorators, the convention center, and utility companies when coordinating services for vendors on the show floor

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of Excel is required
• Knowledge of Cvent and Visio a plus
• Communication and teamwork skills a must
• Must be well organized and pay close attention to detail
• Must have the ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Minimal lifting, approximately 30 pounds
• Some travel involved

Actual Hours:

• Monday through Thursday, 7:30 to 4:30
• Hours adjusted during QuiltWeek events

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
