Greeting customers and preparing their orders. Operating the slicer, weighing and packing the orders; operating cash register and processing credit card sales; responding to customer inquiries regarding items offered at the meat counter; maintaining an organized and sterile work space.
Additional duties include: wrapping meat packages, making patties and trimming meat. Preparing packages for freezer, along with placing them in the correct area; answering phone calls. Cleaning the work area and retail room as needed throughout the day, as well as at the end of the work day.
Excellent communication with management, customers and co-workers is required. We are a small team and attendance is a top priority in order for us to operate effectively.
Experience in the meat industry is a plus, but not required. This job requires standing on your feet all day and having the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
We are open Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm and on Saturday from 8 am to 2 pm.
Hiring for a Saturday-only position at this time, with potential for some additional part-time weekday work if available.
