As the Inside Sales Representative, you will respond to telephone, email, or in person contact with prospective customers and establish a positive and professional impression of FASTSIGNS of San Diego. The ideal candidate is a trust-worthy, reliable, responsible, organized, customer-focused, and motivated individual, considered a self-starter with excellent communication and relationship-building skills who can manage projects and provide outstanding service.
Responsibilities:
- Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients using various FASTSIGNS products and brand standards
- Manage large amounts of emails and incoming calls
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues
- Prepare estimates and establishes/maintains estimate follow-up procedures
- Manage sales orders from estimate to completion/pickup, delivery, or installation
- Organize and execute customer appreciation activities, events, and sponsorships
- Establish and maintain effective team relationships with all support departments
- Effectively and efficiently communicate with customers on order status and changes in the production schedule
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from telephone, marketing, and email activity
- Complete all required client/project paperwork
- Work on different projects simultaneously
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Maintain an attractive retail environment (clean, organized and functional).
Qualifications:
- Reliable and responsible, show up on time when scheduled ready to work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, bilingual is a plus
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong proof-reading skills, including spelling and grammar
- Previous service-business experience desired
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficient computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- Basic math skills, ability to read a measuring tape
- Strong organizational skills
- Previous business-to-business experience a plus (experience in the sign industry not required)
- Work well independently and with the team
- Able to stand for long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Starting $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Store hours:
- Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Overtime
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer Service: 2 years (Required)
