Customer Service / Supply Chain Coordinator
Description
Individual in this role will develop relationships with assigned customers to understand their Supply Chain requirements and work with the internal Supply Chain organization to develop solutions that meet customer expectations and maximize business profit. This position will be the focal point at MES for all Supply Chain operations questions related to the customer.
They should enjoy talking to people and helping customers with their needs. They should be able to use analytical skills to understand, predict, and enhance Supply Chain services. Responsible for assembling data from customer inputs, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations, which support Supply Chain Management planning and operations.

Key Duties
o Develop relationships with assigned customers to understand their Supply Chain need and work with the internal Supply Chain organization to develop solutions that meet customer expectations and maximize business profit.
o Understand customer processes for new product introduction, demand planning, forecasting, product quality, warranty support, business reviews and scorecard evaluations
o Work internally with other departments to ensure ongoing activities align with customer expectations
o Weekly: Handle all customer meetings related to Supply Chain, produce weekly status reports to account team and Supply Chain, handle all customer purchase orders and the communication of all orders, coordinate with account team to produce forecast and create purchase orders to give to suppliers for purchasing
o Manages disposition of scrap material. Participates in the weekly Supply Chain meeting and monthly Metrics meeting. Conducts cycle counts and required physical inventories to ensure accurate inventories of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials.
o Gathers and interprets relevant data (costs, productivity, demand patterns, etc.)
o Monitors Inventory and works with planning team for optimal inventory levels
o Investigates problems, finds root causes, and develops solutions
o Develops performance reports and distributes them to stakeholders
o Provides analytical support for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals
o Coordinates delivery schedules and other Supply Chain activities
o Supports Supply Chain Managers to develop customer demand forecasts
o Assists in managing air freight costs and projects
o Manage billing for special costs as well as payment terms
o Assist in Escalated Accounts Receivable issues
Required Skills
Strong analytical skills; Advanced Excel skills; Prior Customer Service or related Customer Support Experience required; familiarity with using databases and complex spreadsheets; self-directed; ability to communicate findings, make recommendations, and facilitate change; comfortable working with individuals at all organizational levels; project management skills.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
