Job Description
A highly self-motivated, organized, well-spoken individual is needed to supervise a team of people making and taking phone calls for hospital’s self-pay balances. The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the members of the team as well as being responsible for inventory control in a high volume, fast paced environment. The role focuses on monitoring, operational efficiencies and employee performance. A large part of the position focuses on the development of team members. The supervisor will be instrumental in ensuring proper training measurements have been utilized so workflow is obtained and continuous, resulting in met deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Implements and maintains client targeted goals for the team which indicates team capacity, utilization, productivity, efficiency and effectiveness in every client and service function.
· Handle customer inquiries and complaints
· Oversee that the expectations and requirements for clients are being followed by team members
· Assure that proper training is in place and that the training manuals are being used by team leads. Also will train when necessary.
· Be able to identify strengths and weaknesses of the team and address each as warranted
· Implement and communicate departmental standards
· Provide hands on support and assistance as warranted by all team members
· Manage employee performance and the quality of the team's work
· Monitor productivity reports
· Develop Team Leads to be effective leaders and provide leadership to entire team
· Work with Team Leads to establish and implement departmental goals, review goals on monthly basis and implement a Plan of Action to address opportunities
· Makes continual schedule adjustments to assure maximum coverage
· Works unscheduled hours when necessary to complete tasks or generally respond to business demands.
· Takes responsibility for personal work ethic, attitude and behaviors.
· Adheres to the company attendance policy and sets a good example for the team
· Identify and resolve problems while strategizing resolutions

Skills Required
· Strong knowledge of Hospital Billing
· Ability to build rapport with clients
· Positive and professional demeanor
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· High School diploma
· Strong computer skills to learn and adopt to client system software quickly
· Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, E-mail
· Intermediate Level Excel Experience
· Must be able to work the schedule assigned
· 1-3 years of Management Experience (Preferred)
· Hospital Experience (Preferred)
