Job Description:
- Office hours Monday through Friday. This position works directly with our CEO to maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders. CS Specialist will utilize corporate systems to accurately and effectively set up our vendors, wholesalers, retailers, and employees to succeed. Accuracy, organization, and data integrity are essential to success.
- This is the first step to the office manager position- We are looking for someone willing to turn this job into a career to help this business improve, thrive, and grow.
- Some days you will be in the office alone and will have to self-manage, detect issues, and work toward resolution
- No travel required
Job responsibilities:
- Email & phone correspondence with vendors and customers to generate cordial rapport
- Onboard new hires via State, Federal, Homebase, MileIQ, and ADP portals
- Reconciliation of accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Prepare payroll via ADP system
- Follow up with customers, vendors, and employees as required to get answers without ruffling feathers
- Data entry via EDI system
- Maintain internal reporting system
- Communicate with executive leaders
- Maintain a warm and inviting office
- Find mistakes and fix them
- Accurate and reliable reporting
- Researching vendor deduction via various portals
- Give feedback to make your job easier and more accurate
- Reformatting documents as required
- Utilize multi-functional office equipment
- Handle inbound and outbound mail
- Dispense treats to office dog (but not too many he is getting obstinate)
Qualifying Skills/ Abilities:
- Microsoft office suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Outlook
- Digital organization skills
- High school education
- Data entry experience
- Previous experience in grocery industry or warehousing preferred
- Problem solving skills- We don’t always know the answer but we figure out how to find it
- Willingness to understand that things change quickly, we don’t always have the answers, but we will use every tool available to figure it out
- Honest and effective communication both verbal and written
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass background check

Schedule:
- Full Time Monday - Friday
- Suggested shift is 8am to 5pm- We can flex to an earlier start/leave if needed
Training-
- New hire will have 3 to 4 weeks with our current office manager to learn the job one on one
