GENERAL SUMMARY
You will assist in the receiving, stocking, and pricing of all merchandise. Associates will help maintain a
clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

? Store Operations
o Ensure a positive, professional, and safe work environment for all associates.
o Work with Store Lead on all aspects of running the store.
o Participate in scheduled staff meetings.
o Communicate issues with the Store Lead.
o Assist in creating a positive, professional, and safe work environment.
o Assist with:
o Receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise throughout the store.
o Maintaining back stock levels.
o Providing a clean and orderly sales floor, including end caps and ad merchandise.
o Ensure signage is current throughout the store.
o Ensure pricing is current throughout the store.
? Customer Service
o Provide a positive representation of Ace Hardware.
o Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
o Greet customers entering and throughout the store. Thank customers when finished and
when they are leaving the store.
o Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor, work well with customers as well as associates.
o Ensure all radio pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously, and effectively.
o Forward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to a member of management.
o Possess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products.
o Assist customers throughout with personal, customized based on the premise of amazing
every customer, every time.
o Ensure all job-related calls, WhatsApp messages, texts, and emails are answered promptly,
courteously, and effectively.
o Implement the S.A.L.E.S. process with ?every customer, every time?.
