Customer Service Specialist

Homestead Community Pharmacy / Medical Arts Pharmacy is a dynamic and forward-thinking organization committed to enhancing accessibility to essential healthcare products. We are presently searching for a motivated and passionate Customer Service Representative to join our team and contribute to our Front Store Program. As a crucial member of our sales team, your role will involve connecting with potential customers through inbound calls, promoting our OTC Benefits card and associated products, and playing a vital part in promoting patient wellness.

As a Customer Service Representative for the Front Store Program, your primary focus will be to interact with potential customers via inbound calls. Your responsibilities will include introducing and advocating for our OTC Benefits card and related products, building relationships, and effectively communicating the advantages to eligible patients. This role requires a customer-centric approach, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to close sales while demonstrating empathy and compassion.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly payment rate: $30,000 - $35,000 + Commission
• Expected yearly earnings: $100,000.00 
• Monthly bonus: 10% of net profit based on sales performance
• After successful completion of a 3-month probation period, eligibility for a raise of $2 per hour
• Potential for yearly raises based on performance evaluations and company policies

• Follow scripts when managing challenging customer issues and escalate to the appropriate party when needed
• Communicate frequent customer suggestions to the team to troubleshoot
• Keep track of customer accounts and make updates with new account information as necessary
• Reply to incoming calls from customers including products and service questions, general information, and complaints
• Interact with the sales lead to maintain and improve service and product knowledge

• Demonstrated expertise in inside sales, telemarketing, or a comparable field
• Outstanding communication skills, with an inherent ability to connect with customers
• Robust negotiation and persuasion capabilities, ensuring successful closure of sales
• Goal-driven mindset and a self-motivated approach to attaining and exceeding targets
• Familiarity with over-the-counter products and the healthcare industry is a valuable asset
• Proficient in the use of sales software and CRM tools
• Detail-oriented and organized, adept at managing multiple tasks
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
