Overview
The Spiratex Company is seeking a results driven Customer Service Specialist to join our Sales Team at our Monroe, MI facility. The ideal candidate will have experience engaging with customers via telephone, email, and in person in a manufacturing environment .
The position is responsible for articulating plant capabilities and receiving and entering incoming orders. The Customer Service Specialist is the Company liaison from order placement through shipment.
Responsibilities
- All non-technical customer communication up to fulfillment.
- Receive all sales related inquiries (RFQs)
- Receive customer orders and determine what they need by asking clarifying questions. Entering sales orders accurately, ensuring timely acknowledgement to customers and accurate contract review.
- Follow-up and provide status of sales orders as needed; communicating effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and shipping as required.
- Comply with quality system.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 3 - 4 years Customer Service experience
- Proficiency in ERP software, Microsoft Office
- Strong organizaiton skills with attention to detail
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, telephone etiquette
