_ Job Description_

Category: Full-time (Non-exempt) Hourly

Work Hours: Monday thru Friday – 8:00am – 5:00pm

Reports to: Customer Service Manager

SUMMARY

Undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at the desk of our main entrance. You will be the “face” of the company for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make.

All duties related to front lobby reception, including providing administrative support to the Human Resources department.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for opening and closing procedures.
• Receive and direct incoming phone calls.
• Receive employment applications and give survey and test to applicants.
• Greet and direct customers, vendors, applicants, and other visitors.
• Responsible for all front desk procedures and keeping them updated.
• Responsible for badges for visitors, vendors, and contractors for access to the building.
• Receive and sign for deliveries as needed.
• Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them.
• Enter orders received via phone or email.
• Have good ongoing relationship with customers.
• Invoicing.
• Sales reports.
• Talk with the production team, when necessary, to expedite any orders when need be.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Regular sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day to accomplish tasks.
• Occasional sitting.
• Manual and finger dexterity used regularly with some repetitive finger motions, and required usage of both hands as needed.
• Lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision; able to identify colors, small letters, and numbers; hand/eye coordination, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Hearing and speaking.
• Other conditions may include frequent reaching, stretching, pushing, pulling, pinching, grasping, gripping, and crouching or stooping.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• EDI, machines, and exports.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years related administrative experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. A customer-oriented approach is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
