Seeking a Dynamic Customer Service Representative
Aloha Freight Forwarders is looking to hire an outstanding Customer Service Representative at its highly successful organization in California.

- 2 + years of relevant industry experience in logistics operation, with experience in Hawaii Freight Forwarding preferred but not required
- This position's schedule is Monday- Friday, 9am-6pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction via telephone or email.
- Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication and provide accurate, valid and complete information, shipment tracking and delivery information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle customer concerns, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies established by the Customer Service Manager
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to ensure the service expectation is achieved
- Process shipment Bill of Lading to ensure all the vital information is present to route to the correct destination and to image into the Aloha Information System
- Accurately enter shipment dimensions and weight information into the Aloha Information System
- Contact customers regarding proper routing of shipments that lack the proper documentation.
- Identify Shipper/Consignees that require special handling, consolidation and special routing.
- Promptly direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
- Provide feedback on the efficiency of the Customer Service process
Requirements
- High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of Customer Service principles and practices
- Knowledge of relevant computer applications
- Computer Keyboard Proficiency - Data Entry/Typing
- Knowledge of administrative procedures
- Strong aptitude for Math and written communication
- 2 + years of relevant industry experience in logistics operation, with experience in Hawaii Freight Forwarding preferred but not required
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive compensation will be provided to the successful candidate, along with an excellent benefits package, including health, dental, and vision paid by the company for the employee and qualified dependents at no cost to employee. Aloha Freight Forwarder offers 401k for qualified employees.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
