Customer Service Representative, Toro NSN - The Toro Company

Major Function? 

The Customer Service Representative handles customer calls by answering questions, finding solutions to issues, addressing concerns or complaints and providing important information. They work to ensure every customer is satisfied with their experience with the company and its products or services. Make outbound calls to provide sales support to customers or follow up on inquiries.

Work Location:

This opportunity is based out of Abilene, Texas.Candidates should prepare for 5-days on site.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for: 

  • Take customer calls and provide accurate, satisfactory answers to their queries and concerns

  • De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers, offering patient assistance and support

  • Call clients and customers to inform them about the company's new products, services and policies

  • Guide callers through troubleshooting, navigating the company site or using the products or service

  • Review customer or client accounts, providing updates and information about billing, shipping, warranties and other account items

  • Collaborate with other call center professionals to improve Customer Service

  • Help to train new employees and inform them about the company's customer management policies

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: 

  • Experience:At least one (1) to three (3) years in a phone/headset, customer support environment.

  • Education:Bachelor’s degree preferred in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in related industry.

  • Language Skills: Fluent English and Spanish preferred.

  • Skills: Strong communication, both written and verbal;Great active listening skills; Exceptional interpersonal and rapport-building skills;Patient and empathetic attitude;Strong time management and organizational skills;Adaptability and flexibility;Comfortable working in fast-paced environments;Basic troubleshooting skills; Computer literacy;Phone skills, including familiarity with complex or multi-line phone systems; and Expertise in customer support.
