Modern Property Services is seeking a Customer Service Representative / Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will communicate with customers to identify their needs, process requests, escalate complaints, and provide helpful solutions that ensure they have a great Customer Service experience with our company. The ideal candidate is friendly, computer savvy, is able to remain calm under pressure, and has prior scheduling experience in the residential and/or commercial service industry.
Responsibilities
- Receive a high volume of inbound calls and emails
- Identify the reason for the customer’s call, collect relevant information, and provide solutions
- Schedule repair and maintenance appointments
- Document all customer interactions
- Use best practices in Customer Service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers
- Liaise and coordinate with clients, residents, sub-contractors and MPS department leads
- Attend trainings to maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative and Scheduler or in a similar role - Required
- Mastery level experience using CSR or POS computer system - Required (Service Titan is a plus)
- Excellent phone and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of active listening techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required
