The primary purpose of a Customer Service Clerk is to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. A Customer Service Clerk is responsible for greeting customers and assisting them as necessary, providing fast, friendly and accurate check out services, handling refunds and returns. Previous experience in a Customer Service environment is preferred, but will train the right candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Observe all store rules and company policies.
- Maintain a neat, well groomed personal appearance at all times and observe company dress regulations.
- Greet all customers and provide them with prompt and courteous service.
- Observe shift -operating hours at all times as scheduled by department manager.
- Must have excellent communication and Customer Service skills.
- Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation standards in compliance with store policies.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
