Job Description
The industry leader in premium Black Angus beef seeks a motivated individual looking for an opportunity to put his or her agri-business and Customer Service background to use in a fast-paced sales environment. This position is full-time Monday through Friday with a standard schedule.
ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide direct support to the sales team and Director of Sales.
- Be responsible for daily oral and written communications with both internal and external customers.
- Responsible for entering orders and following them through from order placement through invoicing and delivery.
- Assist with inventory management and rotation.
- Building relationships with new and current customers.
- Researching and prospecting new leads and contacts.
- Strategic sales and account management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior problem-solving skills.
- Possess a positive “can do” attitude.
- Must be very detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor of Science Degree
2. Previous Customer Service experience.
3. Accounting and logistics familiarity
4. Prior Packer level experience.
5. Prior sales experience.
Work Conditions- 40+-hour on-site work week with on-call availability.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Standing for extended periods of time.
- Climbing of stairs and ladders.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other hand and electrical tool components.
- Predominantly office work but may spend time in the production environment developing skillset
